 Wrangler Jeans for men, regular fit, black April 1, 2010

My husband is pretty picky when it comes to his jeans. I ordered these Wranglers as they are what he usually buys. The jeans are nice. The only problem is that the little coin pocket seems to be misplaced. It is really narrow and he can only fit one finger in the coin pocket. I don't know if these were rejects or not. Aside from the pocket, the jeans are fine.

Previously I wore Levi's for the most part. I decided to try these Wranglers and they fit great. Quality seems good. No complaints so far.

The key to apparel web-sales (e.g. you can't try it on before you buy) is CONSISTENCY IN THE SIZES so one can buy with confidence.
My previous buy for Wranglers was 32W x 32L and they are now, after a year or so, a bit tight in the waist. So I bought these 33W.
SURPRISE: the 33W is tighter than my previous 32W (way tighter !!!).
No doubt the "made in the USA" did make a difference. Assemblying the product in foreign countries with cheap labor will result in poor quality and consistency.
No more Web buying of Wrangler for me.
Levis also has this type of inconsistency but not nearly as bad as Wrangler (so far..).
It's hard for me to find time to go to a mall and buy jeans. But in view of this experience I'd rather find the time than throw the money away (and end up having to find the time anyway).
